Rip's impressions
I've read five of his top ten, and I think this is his best.
first line
So you're all set for money then? the boy named Crow asks in his typical sluggish voice. The kind of voice like when you've just woken up and you mouth still feels heavy and dull. But he's just pretending. He's totally awake, as always.
last lines
(spoiler alert)
"You'd better get some sleep," the boy named Crow says. "When you wake up,
you'll be part of a brand-new world."
You finally fall asleep. And when you wake up, it's true.
You are part of a brand-new world.
